Early years teacher

We are seeking a skilled member for our team to join as an Early Years Teacher in a group for 3–5-year-olds. Our kindergarten’s approach is based on positive pedagogy, broad development of the child’s learning and skills, language awareness development, child participation in planning and activities, development of play, and utilisation of diverse learning environments. We offer an early childhood education setting where nature serves as a nearby learning environment. Access to the library and other excursion destinations is convenient on foot or by bus. In full-time work, a qualification supplement is paid (in part-time the supplement is proportionally smaller): for a qualification meeting the requirements for early childhood education teacher 15.38 €/month, and for a Master of Education 38.83 €/month. You may use your strengths boldly in front of new challenges. Qualification requirements follow the Act on Early Childhood Education (540/2018) Chapter 6. Salary and other terms of employment are determined according to OVTES for eligible early childhood education teachers (A1: 3244.05 €/month - C1: 3462.12 €/month + possible supplements). The position is subject to a 6-month trial period. If suitable applicants are missing we may also consider students in the field and other applicants without formal eligibility. In that case the role may be filled for up to 12 months with fixed-term employment. The selected candidate must provide a criminal record extract as required by the law on background checks for persons working with children. For those selected to work with under-6s, a tuberculosis check will be conducted as required by law.
