Driver Guide

Are you the driver-guide we are looking for? We are recruiting for XWander, a full-time driver-guide to support customer transport and guiding on experiential tours as well as daily activities in Lapland. You will create the first and most important part of the customer experience in the vehicle. Responsibilities include leading city tours in Rovaniemi and coordinating customer transports to destinations such as Napapiiri, Ranua Wildlife Park, the icebreaker in Kemi, and local husky and reindeer farms, plus other activity sites. The role may involve longer relocations, such as the Rovaniemi–Ivalo route, with temporary accommodation arranged in Ivalo for the nights. The job emphasizes customer-service mindedness during travel; ensuring smooth and timely transports, taking care of luggage, and vehicle upkeep between shifts (refueling, cleanliness, and equipment maintenance). You operate in a practical, safety-first manner. The work starts in early November and runs until the end of March 2027. Salary will be based on agreement and experience; other terms adhere to the Program Service sector collective agreement. Accommodation is available in Rovaniemi for the winter season at a reasonable rent.
