Waste Management Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced and practical supervisor for our glass recycling site in Hyvinkää. The role involves daily operational management of the glass recycling workstation, organizing daily tasks, and efficient handling of material flows, as well as responsible use of machinery. The supervisor will oversee the crushing process, unloading of products from reception containers to subsequent processing, management of material flows and production efficiency, daily work planning and directing personnel, reporting and monitoring operations, maintaining cleanliness and safety at the work areas, ensuring delivery reliability, opening and closing the site as agreed, onboarding new employees, supervising correct use of personal protective equipment, and safe, efficient operation and daily condition monitoring of work machines. Requirements include strong experience with various machines (e.g., wheel loaders, material handling machines, excavators, reach stackers or similar equipment), ability to train others, prior supervisory or team-leading experience, proactive and responsible work ethic, safety-first leadership, good communication and collaboration skills, and Finnish language ability.
