Kasvunkoti Laine and Pienryhmäkoti Kulmala are located in new premises designed for the activity in Soramäki, Hollola. The units house children aged 10-17 with varying degrees of developmental disability diagnosis, as well as autism spectrum, neuropsychiatric or psychiatric symptoms or diagnosis. The units have 7 places. As a practical nurse, you are in a key role in identifying the individual needs of customers and ensuring high-quality care. You work with a professional approach, respecting the customer's right to self-determination and meeting them appreciatively. Your work includes, among other things, basic care, medication and rehabilitative guidance. You also support customers physically in daily activities. We offer a good orientation and various trainings to ensure smooth work. We expect from you: a practical nurse's degree and Suosikki registration from the License and Supervision Authority; a social and health care professional card (Kanta certificate card) OR willingness to acquire the card during the trial period; willingness to demonstrate medication skills by completing a medication permit within four months of starting employment and regularly during employment; willingness for three-shift work or night-oriented work; basic Finnish language skills for documentation and meeting customers; vaccine protection according to Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act; good meeting and teamwork skills.
