Assistant Store Manager

What the job involves: - You are responsible for the store’s sales leadership, B2B sales, and you continuously train the team on different JYSK concepts. - Goals guide your work; everyone has a clear direction and a drive to exceed expectations. - You work closely with the Store Manager as a pair and may have supervisory responsibilities. - You set a good example for the whole team, prioritise and empower weekly tasks among the team, support shift planning, handle campaigns, keep the team informed, monitor metrics and take necessary actions to keep the store commercially ready for customers. - Weekly you provide constructive feedback to help the team succeed. - The job requires good physical condition, but you will have the best tools and team support. - Variety is a hallmark – store, warehouse, campaigns… monotony has no place in our vocabulary. What we expect from you: - You are motivated to work as a supervisor and lead a team to results by example. - Experience and demonstrable examples from shift supervisor roles are a plus but not required. - You are sales-oriented, and being results-driven and meeting targets is important to you. You also want to sell and succeed every shift. - You know how to train, onboard, and guide others as part of your strengths. - You tolerate ambiguity because there is a lot to do and not everything can be completed at once. - You thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy a dynamic pace and unexpected tasks during a shift. - You are proactive and capable of working independently, drawing energy from teamwork and surpassing your own goals. - You are flexible regarding tasks, hours, and working times. Work shifts vary across mornings, evenings, and weekends.
