Social Worker

We are seeking a licensed social worker for a permanent position in the adult and child welfare open care team on the IDÄN area of Keski-Uudenmaan welfare region. The vacancy is located at the Tuusula-Mäntsälä-Pornaisten office, with facilities in Hyrylä health and social services center. The team consists of eight social workers, two social care workers, a supervisor, a system therapist and secretaries, and is joined by other support staff from related services. The social worker will be the primary caseworker for children, ensuring involvement of the child and family, and will engage in network cooperation and relation- and system-based work. Responsibilities include planning, implementing and evaluating open-care support measures with the client and handling placement processes. The customer base for this role is around 30 children. We offer hybrid work, structured child welfare duties with some urgent tasks, supervision, multi-professional guidance groups, and opportunities for legal consultation. Training and onboarding are provided by the team and supervisor; wellbeing is supported by regular supervision. A company car is available to the team, with flexibility to use a personal vehicle. The position requires the license and qualifications of a social services professional (817/2015 §7).
