Etelä-Pohjanmaan hyvinvointialue is seeking an occupational therapist for a temporary position in Kauhajoki. Join to engage in diverse occupational therapy tasks at the foundational level. The fixed-term position runs from 14 September 2026 to 28 July 2027 in Kauhajoki. The role focuses on working with children, adolescents and their families. Tasks include conducting functional assessments and therapy needs assessments, drafting continuation plans and recommendations based on assessments, implementing pediatric OT sessions, guiding parents and staff in early childhood education and basic education, and multidisciplinary collaboration across networks. The role may include some work with adult clients. A qualification as a licensed occupational therapist under the Health Care Professionals Act (559/1994) is required. If suitable applicants are lacking, final-year students may be considered. Terms and pay are governed by the current SOTE collective agreement, with a task-specific salary at contract start of 3119.64 €/month. A probation period applies. Before taking the position, a criminal background check as required by law (504/2002) must be presented. A drug test may be required. HYVAEP is nicotine-free. Vaccination protection and a statement regarding respiratory tuberculosis as required by the Infectious Diseases Act sections 48 and 55 are required. Location: Seinäjoki, Finland.
