Internship

Open internship application related to studies, for Alko stores in the Kanta-Häme region. We offer internship opportunities in Alko stores across Finland in sales and customer service roles. We expect interns to be customer-oriented, eager to learn, and genuinely interested in store work. The basis for arranging an internship is that the applicant is currently a student, the internship period is a mandatory part of degree studies, and the intern is of legal age at the start of the internship. The duration and timing will be agreed case by case. Internships in stores are unpaid, but we provide interns with a daily meal benefit. Through the internship you gain valuable experience in customer service, responsible alcohol sales, and you can expand knowledge of Alko's wide selection. You also build important work-life skills and networks. We aim to offer meaningful work and tasks for every intern, with adequate training and orientation. We cannot guarantee an internship for everyone. There are many success stories where the path after internship continued as a permanent employee. To apply, send an open internship application including university, study orientation, preferred location (and specific store if known), duration, desired dates for the internship, and any requirements for tasks. Applications should be submitted well before the desired period, but no later than one month before the start date.
