Early Years Teacher

We are seeking an early childhood teacher with positive, action-oriented and strong pedagogical expertise for our early childhood education community to cover parental leave from 11 October 2026 to 31 July 2027. In your work you will need good interaction skills with children, the team, and, of course, parents. We value a developmental approach and creative, innovative thinking in planning activities. As an early childhood teacher you are responsible for the holistic pedagogical planning of the group, its daily implementation, evaluation and development of the activity, and for leading the team. Your support will be the director of early childhood education, a special education teacher, other early childhood educators and child carers. The qualification requirement for a kindergarten teacher is the qualification under the Kindergarten Act (540/2018, section 30) with the transitional provision (75). The selected candidate must provide a certificate of health and present a criminal record extract as required by the Criminal Records Act (6 §, 2 momentti) before taking up the post.
