What do we expect from you? Qualification for an early childhood education teacher position. Fluent Finnish. Ability to lead your team’s pedagogical work and make purposeful use of the team’s expertise. Strong commitment to supporting children’s learning, wellbeing and participation. Good cooperation and interaction skills. Ability to identify situations where activities should be evaluated and developed. Working with children requires a criminal record extract under Act 504/2002. What are your key responsibilities? You are responsible for planning, delivering and evaluating pedagogical activities and ensuring their quality. You lead your team’s pedagogical work and build a collaborative, encouraging and developing working culture. You develop learning environments and enable inclusive and safe small-group activities. You take care of pedagogical documentation and evaluation and ensure activities comply with the Early Childhood Education Act and guidance documents. You are responsible for planning and delivering support for children in cooperation with a multidisciplinary network. You ensure everyday activities run smoothly and cooperate actively with guardians and other partners. You act as a link between the daycare manager, teacher forums and your team, and promote the practical implementation of shared policies. Why Verkanappulat?
