Early Childhood Social Worker

The open position is for a Varhaiskasvatuksen sosionomi at YES Daycare in Vantaa. The role involves participating as a member of an multiprofessional team in the planning, implementation and evaluation of pedagogical activities, and taking responsibility for child- and family-oriented guidance and cooperation with guardians and other actors in child welfare. You will contribute to community, participation and wellbeing, develop services and new practices from the perspective of child and family wellbeing and communal well-being. The job is located at Y.E.S. Daycare, a bilingual (English and Finnish) daycare in Hagelstamintie, Vantaa. The unit has 8 groups, 2 of which are preschool groups, and the social work tasks focus on 3–5 year olds this season. We value a flexible, positive and teamwork-oriented approach, listening to the child with sensitivity and supporting their active participation. We will use ProVaka in our operating culture.
