ILS Manager

Etteplan Defense GmbH, part of the Etteplan group, specializes in the creation of operating manuals, maintenance instructions, functional descriptions, repair guides and training materials for the Bundeswehr, the military and the defense industry. We are looking for an ILS Manager Defense (m/w/d) at our Koblenz office with the ability to strategically lead and sustainably implement demanding ILS programs for our customers – especially for the Bundeswehr. Your responsibilities include holistic planning, coordination and control of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities over the entire product life cycle; ensuring compliance with military standards (e.g. ASD S-Series, TL, MIL-Standards); responsibility for schedules, costs and quality in the ILS environment; creation and development of logistic support concepts for complex defense systems; derivation of maintenance strategies; definition of requirements for maintainability, reliability and availability; conducting LSA-/LSAR analyses; RAM data evaluations; identifying optimization potentials to increase readiness; planning and controlling spare parts strategies and supply chains; definition of maintenance levels; building material provisioning and logistics concepts; alignment with customers and international partners; coordination of external service providers and suppliers; creation and maintenance of ILS-relevant documentation (e.g. S1000D, S2000M); ensuring compliance with national and international guidelines; support in audits and reviews; support in creating ILS offers and calculations; advising customers on logistic concepts and lifecycle costs; participation in defense tenders. Your qualification includes a degree in engineering sciences (e.g. mechanical, electrical or aerospace engineering) or comparable qualification; alternatively: technician/master with relevant experience in ILS or defense; practical experience in military/defense environments; solid understanding of ILS processes (ILS, LSA, RAMS); experience in Life Cycle Cost analyses; knowledge of defense procedures and ASD standards; knowledge of S1000D; practical experience with ILS tools (ideally IKOS Suite); very good project management skills; fluent German and good English.
