Guidance Counselor for School Attendance and Afternoon Activities (Ojamonharju Comprehensive School) - Lohjan kaupunki - Lohja, Finland

We are seeking a guidance counselor for school attendance and afternoon activities (28 hours/week) at Ojamonharju Comprehensive School for a fixed-term position from August 10, 2026, to June 4, 2027. Your work will mainly focus on guiding 1st and 2nd grade students. You will collaborate daily with classroom teachers, special education teachers, and other staff. Your tasks include: Guiding and supporting students during lessons, transition times, free periods, recess, and outdoor activities; Assisting and supporting students in afternoon activities together with other counselors; Supervising homework completion; Other agreed tasks. Ojamonharju Comprehensive School is a school with approximately 600 students in Lohja Ojamola. The staff consists of about 80 members. The school includes grades 1-9 and shared special classes for the city. Our afternoon activities serve about 45 children, and activities are conducted on school premises. You will receive an orientation to your duties. In addition, experience-based pay of up to 8% may be paid if applicable. The position includes a probation period of half the employment duration.
