I am a happy 50-year-old woman living in Arabiastranden in Helsinki. I am seeking a Swedish-speaking assistant from 1 September 2026 for an individual Vi vill bidra day activity. We would meet 5 days a week from 9:00 to 13:00. I enjoy various ball sports, boats, crafts, animals and riding trams. I also have two jobs I participate in weekly. I need help with everyday tasks such as dressing and bathroom visits, as well as with time awareness and with my communication. I wish you to be friendly, empathetic and a trustworthy person who enjoys talking and joking with me. The person chosen for the job must present a valid criminal record extract (Law on supervision of social and health care 741/2023 § 28). What is Vi vill bidra? Vi vill bidra is a model for societal inclusion of people with extensive disabilities and offers an alternative to traditional day activity. Vi vill bidra is an individualized and meaningful day activity based on various tasks including personal assistance as a tool. Our aim is to arrange day activity at least partly outside the home, with support from cooperative partners that enable participants to belong to a community and possibly perform agreed tasks.
