Counsellor

We are seeking a counsellor to join Espoon ohjaus- ja valmennuspalvelut. The role involves planning and guiding clients’ daily activities, administering medications, caring and supervising, reporting and recording, maintaining professional competencies, and developing operations and the unit. The unit uses its own car and focuses on outreach, with facilities for exercise and art, and an sensory room. The successful candidate should be able to adapt to changing situations and handle demanding interactions. We require registration of the counsellor with the Social Welfare and Health Care Inspectorate (Lupa- ja valvontaviraston rekisteröinti). Proficiency in spoken and written Finnish is essential, including documentation and client interactions. Medication-related training is required; if not yet completed, we can provide training. Other requested attributes include a positive attitude, willingness to learn, genuine interest in supporting people in need, and they will be looked upon favorably if they have experience working with autism spectrum or other neurodiverse individuals, first aid training, and hygiene certification. The starting monthly salary is in TES grade G22 (2700.57–2930.49 EUR, the Autism Foundation pays above TES scales).
