We are seeking a healthcare assistant for a permanent position in Meän koti, a 7-bed communal living unit for mental health and substance use disorders. Our team consists of three workers and we have a great working atmosphere. The job involves two shifts and solo work. Your role as a healthcare assistant is to support and safeguard clients, assist and guide them in daily activities including basic care, medication administration, handling matters, assist with cleaning and other household tasks. What the job requires: completion of a healthcare assistant qualification or equivalent previous qualification and registration with JulkiTerhikkiin/JulkiSuosikkiin (Valvira); fluent Finnish; ability to work independently and in a team. We value enthusiasm, willingness to develop, independence, and responsibility, and being yourself. Also valued: education or experience in mental health and substance use work.
