General Practitioner

We are now seeking a General Practitioner for student health care at our Mikkeli service point, full-time (38 h 15 min/week) and permanent employment starting 1 Oct or as agreed. The role can be carried out from the service point or partly remotely. The work can be full-time or part-time—tell us your preference! Our client group’s typical visit reasons include mental health, dermatology, musculoskeletal symptoms, infections, and sexual health questions. All students are seen for treatment needs assessment. We use BeeHealth’s digital platform and general practitioners’ work includes tele-consultations via the digital platform’s chat. We offer you: thorough onboarding, support from colleagues and supervisor, good consultation opportunities, the possibility to participate in a mentoring program to support your professional development, the possibility to tailor the job description, and we follow the agreement between YTHS and the Finnish Medical Association regarding terms of employment. The role’s pay range is 6668–7348 EUR per month for our general practitioners and 7410–8167 EUR per month for specialists. Monthly salary may include a personal pay component of 6–24%. Doctor certificates and statements are paid according to TES. We take care of our employees. Our occupational health services are comprehensive. At YTHS, six months of general practice specialization (YEK) can be credited. We expect a medical licenciature or specialist degree and Valvira-licensed entitlement to practice as a healthcare professional. We also value good communication skills.
