Join our team to build market-leading insurance pricing. We’re looking for a pricing mathematician with prior experience in pricing insurance products. In this role you will ideate, construct, and develop pricing, discounting, risk selection and steering models for a growing, modern, flat‑hierarchy digital insurer. Our approaches include risk-based pricing, market-driven behavior, adaptability, agility, and continuous optimization, as well as the purposeful use of new technologies and data sources. What you will work on includes: developing pricing models and pricing logic for insurance products; developing intelligent pricing, discounting and price-change logics; creating profitability, conversion and market-price position analyses for the insured portfolio; defining pricing models and engines for insurance systems; analyzing and planning pricing, risk selection and campaign activities. What we require: experience in pricing insurance products; a passion for quantitative and statistical methods and mathematical modeling; multivariate modeling skills (e.g., GLM); programming skills (e.g., SQL, Python); fast learning ability and an agile, results‑driven working style; a suitable university degree; Finnish language proficiency; preferred: experience applying AI to modeling, data analysis and/or programming.
