We are seeking a Structural Engineer for our industrial business in northern Finland, based in Oulu with a hybrid working model. The role involves a variety of structural design tasks in a responsible role or as part of a design team on diverse projects. The position offers opportunities for growing into more responsible duties as competencies develop. The exact scope will be defined to suit your skills, strengths, experience and goals. Tasks are varied and largely industrial structural design using modern tools; 3D design is part of daily work. Primary working location is our Oulu office. We follow AFRY’s hybrid work model.

Responsibilities
- Perform diverse structural design tasks in industrial context, either as a responsible structural engineer or as part of a design team across projects
- Engage in 3D modeling; use modern tools
- Work primarily from the Oulu office and participate in hybrid work model
Requirements
- Qualified in structural engineering with a DI or AMK degree
- Experience in designing steel, concrete and concrete-element structures
- Software proficiency Tekla Structures, Autodesk Robot, Office programs
- Proficiency in Finnish and English
- At least B-class driving license
- Willingness to travel to local project sites
