As a fire protection technician you will ensure operations run smoothly. You will join a team of professionals where tasks are completed efficiently. We are seeking a fire protection technician to join our Lahden-based team on a permanent contract. The role offers mobile and independent work at interesting and varied client sites. Responsibilities include maintenance, fault-finding and installation work on fire alarm, smoke extraction and safety light systems. Work is primarily autonomous but also coordinated with other fire technicians when needed. Sites are in Päijät-Häme region, including industrial, property-management, and care facility buildings. The job is mobile but does not require long trips. Work hours are 40 hours per week from 07:00 to 15:30. A security clearance may be required. Do you want to be part of a functioning life? You will fit with Caverion if you have suitable vocational training and experience in electrical or electronics, knowledge of smoke extraction and safety light systems, and prior experience with fire alarm installations. Strong IT skills and fluent Finnish, both spoken and written. You are proactive, sociable and able to work independently, and you won’t be fazed by pace or changing situations. A driving license (B) and access to your own car are required. When employment starts, you may need mandatory certificates such as safety training, hot-work, electrical-safety, and security guard cards.
