Site Supervisors for Energy and Substation Projects

We are now looking for site supervisors for energy and substation projects in the Oulu and Kainuu regions! In this role, you will be the site manager’s right hand. Your work will include, among other things, subcontractor management and preparing quality handover documentation. You will be responsible for project planning and delivery independently and together with the site manager. You will work at new energy park, substation or battery storage sites with a skilled team, supported by a project manager and site managers. Your duties include, among other things: - Monitoring the site schedule and progress - Supporting the supervision of earthworks and construction, planning and organising daily work - Preparing and monitoring cost forecasts - Coordinating and producing project quality and safety documentation Please note that carrying out the duties requires readiness to travel and presence at the worksite. At the beginning of employment, work will take place in South Ostrobothnia, after which the location will vary according to project sites. What do we expect from you? - A suitable higher-education degree; for example, a university of applied sciences degree in electrical and energy engineering - At least a couple of years of previous experience at electrical and energy construction sites - Good Finnish and English skills - Initiative and a desire to advance projects with quality, responsibility and continuous improvement as priorities - Good collaboration and interaction skills; you enjoy working with different stakeholders - A category B driving licence, as the role requires travel - Passing an employment medical examination at the start of employment You may already be an experienced supervisor or site engineer, or an infrastructure professional looking to progress in your career. The most important thing is that you know day-to-day site work, want to lead practical work and move matters forward purposefully with the team. Previous experience in construction of a data centre, substation or power plant is an advantage. With the selected person’s consent, a basic security clearance may be conducted under the Security Clearance Act (726/2014).
