Forest Specialist

The Metsähallitus forestry team in Nurmes is seeking a forest specialist for a permanent position. The role involves diverse forestry planning tasks, including planning of harvest cuts, various forestry maintenance and nature conservation works. A key focus is coordinating different uses of forests and applying the newest planning methods. You will also be responsible for the condition of regional road networks. Work location is Nurmes. A suitable forestry university degree is required; work experience and IT skills are valued. The job requires good collaboration skills, a constructive and independent work attitude, and willingness to work in the field.
