We are seeking skilled CNC machinists for Ikaalinen. The role suits those who are comfortable in a machine shop environment and have a solid grip on CNC turning. Work is performed on modern equipment, and you will perform a variety of turning operations from small batches to single pieces. The position currently runs on two shifts, with readiness for a future three-shift schedule. The successful candidate enjoys problem solving, can take responsibility for their own work, and wants to grow further in turning. Key responsibilities include turning for small batches and single pieces, operating multiple machines (lathes, milling centers, grinding equipment, etc. depending on skill), creating setups and programs and tweaking them, ensuring quality with measurement tools and professional workmanship, and adopting a development-oriented approach with small everyday improvements in the lean spirit. Requirements include experience in CNC turning, a proactive and solution-oriented mindset, ability to work in a team and take charge of different machines when needed, a willingness to develop skills and learn more, and readiness for 2 shifts with interest in 3 shifts in the future.
