We are seeking skilled CNC machinists in Ikaalinen. The role suits those who feel at home in a machine shop environment and who have a solid grasp of CNC machining. Work on a modern set of machines, enabling you to perform turning and milling tasks for small batches as well as single pieces. The position currently runs on two shifts, with readiness for three shifts in the future. The right candidate enjoys problem solving, can take responsibility for their work, and wants to further develop in the field of machining. We value attitude, meticulousness and completing tasks from start to finish. What the job contains: CNC turning for small batches and single pieces; operating different machines (lathes, milling centers, grinding devices etc. depending on skills); making settings and programs and fine-tuning; quality assurance with measuring instruments and professional craftsmanship; a development-oriented approach with small improvements in lean spirit. We expect: experience in CNC machining; proactive and solution-oriented attitude; ability to work as part of a team and take on different machines when needed; desire to develop own skills and learn more; willingness for 2-shift work and interest in 3-shift work in the future.
