Facilities Engineer

Job Summary We are looking for a Facilities Engineer to be responsible for maintaining and developing the buildings and infrastructure of our factory site. In this role you will be responsible for the upkeep of buildings, outdoor areas and technical systems in a factory environment. You will lead construction and infrastructure projects from planning to execution, coordinate preventive maintenance and manage repair needs in collaboration with service providers and contractors. You will monitor contractors' work and ensure safe operating practices at the factory site now and in the future. The position is located in Kotka, and the role applies an on-site working model. What makes you suitable You have suitable technical training, for example from building, building services or building technology. You have gained experience in building maintenance, property upkeep or construction projects. You have experience in project planning, coordination or execution. You understand regulations, standards and safety requirements in the construction industry. You are able to collaborate with external contractors and service providers. You are methodical and responsible for your own work. You have a strong safety mindset and commit to promoting safe ways of working. You communicate fluently in Finnish and English in an international work environment. You can coordinate several tasks and projects simultaneously. How you stand out? Experience in industrial environments or maintenance of production facilities. Demonstrable track record of successful execution of building or building services investment projects.
