Outdoor Activities Guide

Join our outdoor activities team at Pyhätunturi! We are looking for outdoor activities staff for the coming winter season who enjoy spending time in nature, meeting people and sharing stories about Lapland with our guests. Sunday Morning Collection offers high-quality activities in the beautiful natural surroundings of Pyhä-Luosto National Park. We follow the principles of sustainable tourism, and our activities bring together local nature, safety and authentic Lapland experiences. This work is for you if you enjoy being outdoors on winter days and want to help create some of the most memorable moments of our guests’ lives. Your duties Tasks vary according to your skills and may include, for example: Guiding nature and outdoor activities, mainly in English Leading electric snowmobile trips, northern lights trips, ice-fishing trips, snowshoeing trips, farm visits and other nature experiences Looking after guests’ safety and comfort and ensuring a high-quality customer experience Airport transfers, activity transport and other charter driving Preparing, servicing and maintaining equipment, including electric snowmobiles, skis, snowshoes and other activity equipment Heating and maintaining lakeside saunas General maintenance and upkeep around the resort Advising guests and handling practical arrangements during activities What we value An interest in nature, hiking and outdoor activities Experience in outdoor activities, tourism, guiding or wilderness pursuits; applicants at the beginning of their careers are also very welcome An excellent customer-service attitude and good interpersonal skills Good physical fitness and readiness to work in changing weather conditions A responsible, proactive and positive approach to work Fluent English; Finnish is a strong advantage because we also serve many domestic guests. Other language skills are considered an advantage. A valid category B driving licence; category D1 or D is an advantage A hygiene passport and EA1 first-aid training are an advantage but not required. We can provide training if needed. The final pay depends on experience. Employment The work starts in late November or early December 2026 and continues until the end of the spring season 2027, around the turn of March and April. The work is full-time seasonal employment.
