Special Education Teacher in Early Childhood Education

We are looking for a Special Education Teacher in Early Childhood Education to join the Vanda Swedish service area, working across Håkansböle Daycare, Västersundom Preschool and Trollebo Daycare. The unit’s vision is to grow, play and learn together for a sustainable future, with a positive, inclusive culture focused on the child’s best. The role involves being an expert in early childhood pedagogy support for two sites, co-mentoring with the daycare principal in planning, development and evaluation of child support processes, and collaborating with preschool teachers and multiprofessional teams. The successful candidate should be capable of consulting and mentoring staff and guardians, with co-teaching on a partial basis. You will be part of the unit’s leadership group and support development of an inclusive culture. The workplace includes Håkansböle Daycare (two groups at Galoppbrinken 5, 01200 Vanda), Västersundom Preschool (one group at Hetbackavägen 3, 01200 Vanda) and Trollebo Daycare (three groups at Vidjegränden 2, 01360 Vanda). In the future, the plan is to move to new premises at Hästhagsvägen 17, 01200 Vanda for a bilingual day care with 4 Swedish-speaking and 6 Finnish-speaking groups under one roof.
