About the role

About the role As Communications Specialist, Corporate Customers and Markets (CCM), your role is to support the promotion of Fortum’s reputation as a preferred partner for corporate customers and assist in defending Fortum’s interests in the Nordic energy markets. You will report to Corporate Relations Director, CCM. The role is positioned at Fortum’s headquarters in Espoo and will require readiness to travel. Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Creating, updating and publishing content on CCM topics (presentations, social media posts, videos, posters, website content etc.). Supporting the successful implementation of Fortum’s integrated advocacy and communications strategy for CCM. Aligning and coordinating communications within CCM and with other communications departments in Fortum. Representing Fortum at stakeholder events, coordinating stakeholder engagement locally and nationally, and supporting business and communications colleagues with media work. Supporting internal communications with e.g. publishing, organizing town halls and other events. Periodically dedicating up to 20% of time to projects in other businesses or Corporate. About you A successful candidate will be creative, collaborative and have proactive mindset with good organizational skills, as well as curiosity to learn about the energy markets. A successful candidate will have minimum of two years' experience in communications and a relevant college or university degree with strong interest in communications. Experience from working with public affairs is an advantage. A successful candidate will have good language skills (spoken/written) in English and Finnish. Competence in Swedish is an advantage​.The candidate should have willingness to travel and be able to interact with internal and external partners and stakeholders. Interested? Responsibilities
