Regional and Business Development Specialist

In this vacancy, you will work closely with regional companies, municipalities and other stakeholders. You will prepare and implement development projects and support companies in their growth, development, renewal and innovation activities. The exact job description will be defined during the interview, in coordination with the rest of the staff and leveraging the strengths of the successful candidate. We hope you have experience working with companies and an understanding of the different stages of business activity, good cooperation and networking skills, knowledge of the Vaasa region's business life, and fluent Finnish, Swedish and English. Additional advantages include experience in development projects, knowledge of corporate financing, experience with ownership arrangements of companies, export expertise, and B2B sales experience. The position is full-time and permanent. Start date by agreement, preferably at the beginning of November. Tasks are mainly located within the Vaasa region, but travel within Finland and the Nordic countries is also required. Having access to a own car is a prerequisite. Partial remote work is possible.
