We are looking for Event Builders to work on seasonal gigs at Jyväskylä Fair Oy’s Pavilion (Pavilion) in Jyväskylä. The Pavilion is a conference and event venue in Lutakko, hosting hundreds of events such as meetings, congresses, company events, trade shows and performances. This is a gig-based role with primarily weekday hours, with occasional evening and weekend shifts. You will need good teamwork and initiative; a willingness to learn goes a long way. Start dates can be arranged relatively soon or later according to mutual agreement. We offer a thorough onboarding, a great team, a vantage point in the events industry, and the opportunity to develop your skills. Requirements include dexterity with tools, the ability to work independently and with a partner, and flexibility with working hours. Preferred but not mandatory are experience in event construction, AV skills, a C-class driving license, forklift/boom/trenching/occupational safety certificates, and experience operating a scissor lift. - Assemble and dismantle exhibition stands, booths and displays
- Collaborate with team to install and modify structures
- Ensure safety and cleanliness of work areas
- Operate or assist with AV equipment as needed
- Maintain a positive and proactive attitude on site
Requirements
- Experience in event construction (preferred)
- AV/Audio-visual knowledge (preferred)
- C-class driving license (preferred)
- Forklift, boom, safety certificates (preferred)
- Experience operating a scissor lift (preferred)
