Property Manager

The Teuva municipality values collaboration, responsibility and a drive to develop operations. The core task of the property manager is to maintain municipal buildings so that they are functional, safe and appropriate, and to manage the property asset in a responsible and economical manner. The role focuses on the upkeep and maintenance of owned and administered buildings, ensuring proactive maintenance, and developing and implementing related systems. In planning maintenance projects, the approach considers the lifecycle perspective. The person acts as the supervisor of staff responsible for building upkeep, maintenance and servicing, and prepares and implements the subdivision’s procurements and contracts. The job also includes preparing and monitoring the sub-area’s finances. The position is placed under the technical director within the vitality department, with support from the work community and the technical director. Experience in building maintenance, personnel leadership, and financial, investment, procurement and contract expertise is valued. Municipal administration knowledge and good collaboration, interaction and communication skills are also appreciated. A suitable higher education degree or an institute-level technical degree is required. The base salary is 3962 € per month, with the possibility of an experience-based 8% allowance. A six-month probationary period applies, and a health certificate must be provided before taking up the post. Interviews will be held in Teuva during week 39. Teuva is a smoke-free workplace.
