We are seeking an inclusive early childhood education special education teacher for Y.E.S. Daycare in Vantaa. The bilingual unit (Finnish and English) serves up to 154 children in 8 groups. The daycare is connected to Vantaa International School. Your responsibilities include assessing children’s support needs, planning and implementing support, and evaluating its effectiveness in collaboration with the rest of the early childhood staff. You will support and guide the development of an inclusive culture within the unit together with the daycare director, participate in planning and evaluating support processes, and coordinate support allocation. Strong pedagogical expertise and close collaboration with various stakeholders is essential. You will work with the early childhood operations’ staff, daycare director, and other children and family service providers. Requirements include strong special education expertise and good Finnish language skills in writing and speaking.
