Job Details About the Role Kantar Analytics Pre-Sales serves as the bridge between Business Development, Client Servicing teams, and the Analytics Centre of Excellence (CoE). The role is responsible for understanding client business challenges, recommending the most suitable analytics solutions, and translating requirements into clear, practical, and commercially viable proposals. This position combines analytics knowledge, solution consulting, proposal development, project scoping, and stakeholder management to help clients solve complex marketing, brand, customer, and media measurement challenges. Key Responsibilities Client Requirement Discovery & Solutioning Partner with Business Development and Client Servicing teams to understand client objectives and business challenges. Conduct discovery discussions to gather and document detailed business, functional, data, and analytics requirements. Assess data availability, business context, analytical objectives, and reporting needs. Recommend the most appropriate analytics solution based on client requirements and business goals. Proposal Development & Deal Shaping Develop RFP, RFI, proposal responses, solution approaches, and Statements of Work (SOWs). Define project scope, deliverables, assumptions, timelines, and success criteria. Support effort estimation, resource planning, and pricing discussions in collaboration with delivery and finance teams. Ensure proposed solutions are commercially viable and aligned with client expectations. Analytics Solution Consulting Understand and position Kantar Analytics offerings including: Market Mix Modelling (MMM) Marketing & Brand ROI Measurement Brand Strategy & Brand Equity Studies Media Analytics Customer Analytics Digital Analytics Social Listening Dashboarding & KPI Measurement Frameworks Translate business challenges into analytics-driven solutions and clearly articulate the value proposition to clients and internal stakeholders. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with Analytics Consulting, Delivery, Data Science, Operations, and Finance teams. Facilitate knowledge transfer between client-facing teams and delivery teams. Ensure alignment between client requirements, technical feasibility, project scope, and commercial expectations. Presentation & Stakeholder Management Support client presentations, pitch materials, solution demonstrations, and proposal walkthroughs. Develop case studies, capability decks, and solution documentation. Communicate complex analytics concepts in a business-friendly manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Documentation & Governance Maintain comprehensive documentation including requirements, assumptions, meeting notes, proposals, costing models, and approved scope documents. Support internal governance and review processes for large and strategic opportunities. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Marketing, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline. 3-5 years of experience in Pre-Sales, Analytics Consulting, Market Research Consulting, Solution Consulting, Business Consulting, or Technical Consulting roles. Strong understanding of analytics methodologies and their business applications. Knowledge of Marketing Analytics, Market Mix Modelling (MMM), Brand Equity, Media Effectiveness, Customer Analytics, Digital Analytics, or related domains. Experience in proposal development, RFP/RFI responses, SOW creation, project scoping, and effort estimation. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, presentation, and consulting skills. Ability to translate complex analytical concepts into clear business recommendations. Familiarity with BI tools, SQL, cloud platforms, dashboarding solutions, and data-driven decision frameworks is desirable.
