Electrical and Automation Project Manager

Project Manager El & Automation – Avesta Operations (PMO) leads technical projects connected to production equipment for reinvestments, modernisations and process-technical upgrades. You are responsible for the whole project lifecycle from feasibility studies to implementation and delivery, working closely with maintenance, production and external stakeholders. You will drive technical feasibility studies, requirements analyses and specification development, lead projects according to Outokumpu’s project model, oversee budget, scope and schedule, coordinate internal specialists and external suppliers, monitor deliveries including FAT/SAT and risk assessments, and ensure projects meet safety and quality requirements. The role is hands-on and requires movement in the plant, talking with technicians, maintenance and production, ensuring projects work in practice. Located centrally in the Asset management & Investments unit, part of Outokumpu Avesta PMO. You will join colleagues who are project managers and engineers, receive methodological support and development, and work in a strong professional environment where you can discuss ideas and technical challenges.
