Production Engineer

We are currently hiring a motivated Production Engineer for renovation construction projects in the Uusimaa region, based in Helsinki. The role is permanent and full-time, with about 50% of work done in the office and 50% on construction sites, so both environments are relevant. The client focuses on reconstruction and contracting for building projects, including housing as well as public new-build and renovation projects. You will be employed directly by the client company. Your responsibilities include combining cost accounting, production control, and site operations. You will be responsible for cost estimation for residential and office projects and will participate in production and schedule planning at various project stages. On-site you will support the site management and project managers with documentation, procurement coordination, and other site-related tasks to ensure smooth operations. You will be an active part of the project team and ensure information flow between the office and the site so that projects progress as planned and efficiently. This role suits someone who enjoys both analytical office work and practical site work. We expect: about two years of experience in construction tasks (cost estimation, site engineer, projects, site supervision, etc.), background in site engineering or cost calculation is a plus, strong ability to manage complex tasks and proactive attitude, good collaboration and communication skills. Experience in site supervision during internship or employment is not required but is a plus if present.
