As a public health psychologist, you will work as a psychological expert within maternity and child health clinics, providing easily accessible services to families. Your work focuses on preventive and early support, helping parents and children under school age in various life situations. Your duties include: conversations supporting parental wellbeing during pregnancy and early childhood; assessments of children’s development levels and psychological evaluations; guiding, supporting and advising parents; coordinating regional family coaching; multidisciplinary collaboration with the nurse team and early childhood education; consultation and expert support for clinic staff; participating in the development of child health psychology services. You work as part of a multidisciplinary network, but the role also emphasizes independent work, planning and organizing your own tasks. Your workspace is at Raisio Central Family Clinic, Tornikatu 9, 21200 Raisio.
