Lapin hospital district in Rovaniemi invites applications for a permanent position as a dental hygienist. The role is primarily full‑time and begins by agreement. The work is in municipal dental health services, servicing all age groups from infants to the elderly, in modern facilities in central Rovaniemi and possibly in smaller, tranquil clinics in Sinettä and Muurola about 20 km from Rovaniemi. The team includes diverse specialists such as an orthodontist, periodontist, oral and maxillofacial surgeon, endodontist, and a prosthodontist. We can also offer anesthesia and nitrous oxide dental care. Equipment maintenance and appointment scheduling are centralized, and we use Lifecare patient information system. We provide thorough onboarding and supportive supervision. Eligibility requires a dental hygienist degree or a practical nurse degree with a dental health education program, plus registration as a health care professional in Finland (as required by law). Proficiency in Finnish both spoken and written is expected. We value responsibility, initiative, flexibility, and a drive to continuously improve yourself and the team. We expect good interpersonal and collaborative skills. Terms of employment follow the Sote agreement and the trial period is six months.
