Early Childhood Teacher

Päiväkoti Engel is a private kindergarten founded in 1993 in southern Helsinki. Engel's daycare centers include four closely located small homely kindergartens: Päiväkoti Engel Viiskulma, Engel Huvila, Engel Seppä and Engel Albert. Our daycares have a warm, communal and encouraging atmosphere and a professionally ambitious workforce. We are seeking an Early Childhood Education Teacher for Engel Huvila on a fixed-term basis. As a kindergarten teacher you will work as the pedagogical leader of your own work team, responsible for the implementation of high-quality pedagogy. You will support and advance children's development, growth and learning. In your work you will implement planned early childhood education in collaboration with your own team and families. You enjoy working with children and feel you are doing important work. You are proactive, capable, goal-oriented and respectful towards your colleagues. You have the calmness to handle challenging situations and the passion to engage in goal-oriented early childhood education. The role requires fluent Finnish and English. The position is fixed-term until 30 October 2026, with start date by agreement or no later than 1 September 2026. The working time is 20 hours per week.
