Cybersecurity Consulting Operations Lead

As our business continues to grow strongly, we are strengthening the operational leadership of our consulting business. We are looking for an experienced Consulting Operations Lead to lead consulting teams, ensure smooth operations and develop scalable operating models. You will succeed by combining people leadership, an understanding of service business and a strong operational approach. You will ensure that consulting teams can serve customers to a high standard, billing is correct, customer requests and requests for proposals are answered on time, and resourcing is planned and transparent. In this role, you will be responsible for: • Operationally leading consulting team leads and senior experts, ensuring smooth daily operations and achievement of objectives. • Leading team leads and experts through coaching, and developing their capabilities and ways of working. • Developing consulting processes, roles and practices so that work is predictable, efficient and customer-focused. • Ensuring accurate, timely billing and its monitoring in cooperation with experts, sales and finance. • Coordinating responses to customer requests for proposals and RFP processes, ensuring high-quality responses within agreed schedules. • Monitoring resourcing and capacity visibility, and allocating expertise to customer projects and internal development needs. • Working with sales, service production, customer and service management, and other business teams to ensure consulting growth and quality. • Developing consulting business metrics, monitoring and continuous improvement together with the business. We hope you have: • Experience leading an expert, consulting, service or operational function. • A track record of leading people, including team leads or experienced experts. • A strong operational approach and the ability to build clear operating models, responsibilities and monitoring practices. • Experience leading resourcing, capacity, work queues or the planning of expert work. • An understanding of billing, commercial processes and profitability monitoring for expert services. • Experience coordinating customer needs, requests for proposals or RFP responses with different stakeholders. • Excellent collaboration, communication and prioritisation skills. • An understanding of IT, service or cybersecurity business, and fluent Finnish and English. We particularly value: • Experience in cybersecurity, IT or consulting services business. • A track record of improving operational efficiency, utilisation, billable utilisation or delivery quality in expert services. • Experience building scalable operating models for a growing expert organisation. • ITIL, leadership, project management or other relevant certifications, such as ITIL, PMP, CISSP or CISM.
