Director

Lightning AI is seeking a Director of Strategy and Operations to help drive go-to-market excellence and organizational alignment at a fast-growing AI platform company. This role reports to the CRO and sits in the GTM Sales/Revenue Operations team. Location is New York City with a hybrid work arrangement. The Director will define the company’s strategic direction and ensure execution across departments such as Product, Sales, Engineering, Finance, and Customer Success. They will partner with the CEO and executive team to evaluate growth opportunities, set priorities, track key metrics, and lead cross-functional initiatives to improve growth, scalability, and overall business performance. A core part of the role is building enablement systems, content, training, and field reinforcement that help Sales, SDRs, Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, and Partners convey Lightning AI’s story and close complex technical deals. The position requires experience with operating at scale in a go-to-market environment and strong collaboration across multiple functions. Nice-to-have experience includes AI, cloud infrastructure, developer tools, data platforms, MLOps, and enterprise SaaS; experience building enablement programs at high-growth startups; familiarity with MEDDIC/MEDDPICC and other enterprise sales methodologies; and experience supporting partner, channel, or solutions engineering enablement. The role implies working with technical customers and teammates who value speed, clarity, craft, and direct problem solving. The anticipated annual base salary range is: $180,000 - $250,000 USD
