Childcare Assistant

We are hiring a childcare assistant for Håkansböle day care in Vanda. You will be part of the pedagogical team and collaborate with multiprofessional partners to support an inclusive, safe and sustainable working culture where the child’s best interests are in focus. The role requires good teamwork, calm and respectful communication with children, families and colleagues, and responsiveness to each child’s individual needs. The position is in a Swedish-speaking day care as part of Vanda city’s svenskspråkiga serviceområde. The unit will move to a new day care facility (Silva) planned for autumn 2027 and designed to support pedagogy, collaboration and sustainable daily life. Employment terms follow the general municipal collective agreement; full-time hours are 38 h 15 min per week with a four-month trial period. The successful candidate must have the qualification of child care assistant as defined by the Small Children’s Pedagogy Act and be proficient in Swedish. Salary is 2553.28 EUR per month, with potential increases based on prior experience. Applications are submitted through the municipal recruitment system.
