One of our employees is moving on to new challenges, and a position for a Regional Coordinator of personal assistance has opened up in our wonderful work community in Turku. The Regional Coordinator works as part of the personal assistance operations team. Regional Coordinators have their own areas of responsibility, where operations are coordinated independently based on shared quality principles. In Turku, operations are coordinated as a job pair, with each regional coordinator having their own postal areas. The work is primarily daytime, but includes pre-arranged evening and weekend events. Access to a private car is required, as the job involves traveling within the operational area. The Regional Coordinator's task is to coordinate and develop the paid operations of the Assistant Center and the Supported Employment® service in cooperation with employees and local networks. The Regional Coordinator recruits, guides, and advises employers and assistants of personal assistance in their roles. The Regional Coordinator participates in organizing events and works in marketing in cooperation with volunteer activities. Additionally, the Regional Coordinator participates in other tasks related to the implementation of the association's activities as needed. The job also includes communication tasks. We hope for an active and independent work approach, team skills, public speaking ability, a tendency toward innovative thinking, and solid experience in seeing things through to completion from our future colleague. Knowledge of personal assistance and experience in coordinating organizational tasks are seen as significant advantages. Alternatively, we will also consider extensive applicable work experience in organizational activities. Work begins according to agreement, immediately upon finding a suitable candidate. The position has a six-month probationary period. The applicant is expected to have experience in: - employment matters, legislation, and collective agreements - organizational work - coordination and development tasks - communication and marketing - advocacy work - organizing events - using social media The applicant must have good social skills. Additionally, we hope for - innovativeness - good oral and written expression skills - public speaking ability - ability to network - ability to work independently - desire to develop operations The applicant must have access to a private car, as the implementation of the work requires the use of a private car. Proficiency in Swedish and English and experience using various electronic systems are considered an advantage.
