Senior Java Developer

Join Etteplan's team developing a system supporting water loss analysis and reduction in large water supply networks. The application processes and visualizes large data sets, showing network structure, zones, water consumption, and operational parameters. The project is long-term, part of a larger environment of systems developed and maintained for a client, involving development of existing components, building new functionalities, and system integration, including technical infrastructure. The team influences technical solutions, working on large-scale, business-critical systems. The role is hybrid, based in Wrocław, Katowice, Poznań, or Gdańsk, with mainly remote work and occasional office visits. Responsibilities include backend development in Java (Spring / Spring Boot), designing and developing services and APIs, system integration, data processing and optimization, code quality, testing, and collaboration with the development team and client. Requirements include experience as a Senior Java Developer, strong Java and Spring Boot knowledge, REST API design, experience with large-scale backend systems, relational databases, understanding application architecture and system integration, responsibility for solutions, and fluent English. Preferred are experience in development or maintenance projects, microservices architecture, cloud solutions (AWS / Azure), frontend technologies (e.g., React), and data or analytical systems.
