Nursing (Casual Work)

We are seeking graduates for casual shifts as licensed practical nurses and registered nurses to work regularly across five units of Helsinki Seniorisäätiö in West Pakila, North Haag and Tapaninvainio. You can take shifts in the morning or evening and also temporary substitutions. Shifts will be offered through a user-friendly mobile app. Wages are hourly according to the role: for practical nurses €15.92 per hour and for registered nurses €19.05 per hour. Shift allowances and any experience allowances are paid according to the current collective agreement. Requirements include experience in the care of people with dementia, customer-oriented independent and rehabilitative work approach, ability to engage older residents respectfully and individually, good communication and multidisciplinary collaboration skills, and a positive, responsible, solution-oriented attitude. Finnish language proficiency is required to communicate with residents, understand work instructions and reports, operate in Finnish with colleagues, make clear entries in patient information systems, and understand patient safety essentials. You must have a licensed practical nurse or a registered nurse qualification and a professional license from the National Authority for Medicolegal Affairs. You also need current LOVe medicines licenses. A police background check for elderly care is required, as well as tuberculin test and vaccination in line with health requirements.
