Salesperson

Join one of the industry's most knowledgeable teams and help make our customers’ eyes happy. We offer a position in a top-tier team where expertise, warmth, and listening to customer needs are key. Based in Vaasa, in the Wasaborg and Iris Design stores, with potential responsibility across the Vaasa area. The work hours are 30–37.5 hours per week with a permanent contract. The workplace includes multiple Vaasa-area stores and potential work in Laihia and Liisanlehto as needed, with shop opening hours guiding shifts. Pay follows the shop TES table wage (B) plus generous incentive pay. We aim to start as soon as possible. Part of our duties includes guiding customers in frame and lens selection and handling sales events through to finalizing orders; welcoming patients to doctor and optician appointments; handing over prepared glasses and small repair work; scheduling appointment times according to customer needs. We offer more than sales: we provide solutions for vision and eye health tailored to each customer, a comprehensive wellbeing package and ongoing training via Silmäasema Academy. There are opportunities to grow into other roles in a growing company. Requirements include a customer-service and sales orientation, the ability to advise customers on products honestly, a genuine, energetic, precise, results-driven personality, good IT skills, and training for the optical field provided by us. Proficiency in Finnish is required; ability to serve customers in Finnish is essential; being of legal age is required.
