Job Description
The shift supervisor acts as the team leader, responsible for the operation of the work shift and the use of personnel resources in collaboration with the command center. The position is based at the Oulu Emergency Response Center. The shift supervisor is also responsible for maintaining and developing the professional skills of their team members in cooperation with specialists and the senior dispatchers on duty. The task of the shift supervisor is to serve as the supervisor of the work shift or, according to the shift schedule, perform the duties of an emergency dispatch operator in all roles within the control room.
