Mission: As a Tax Operations Associate and experienced Tax Specialist Assistant at Integral, you are a central part of our mission to redefine tax services for SMEs. You collaborate closely with clients and internal teams, take responsibility for the quality of our tax processes, and actively contribute to making workflows more efficient. Your duties include handling tax processes for SME clients from financial accounting to tax return preparation; ensuring high-quality, timely service end-to-end; close collaboration with tax advisers and the product team to continuously improve processes; independently identifying manual repetitive tasks and helping to automate or optimize them; using AI-powered platforms and digital tools to increase efficiency and quality; communicating with clients professionally, clearly and empathetically; and critically reflecting on your work to learn and improve, helping the team become more efficient.

- Support and handle tax processes for SME clients from bookkeeping to tax return preparation
- Ensure high-quality, timely end-to-end service for clients
- Collaborate with tax advisors and product team to improve processes
- Identify manual repetitive tasks and help automate or optimize them
- Use AI-powered platforms and digital tools to improve daily work
- Communicate with clients professionally, empathetically and solution-oriented
- Critically reflect on work practices to learn and improve and help the team become more efficient
Requirements
- Completed training as tax clerk (Steuerfachangestellte:r) or university degree or equivalent qualification
- At least 4 years of professional experience
- Desire to contribute beyond routine processing, think critically about processes, and create real value
- Strong initiative and proactive problem-solving
- Comfort with new tools and technologies; quick learner and digital mindset
- Self-reflection to identify strengths and gaps and help the team grow
- Quality-minded and reliable work
- Startup or growth-company experience is a plus
- Willingness to work fully on-site at our Berlin office
- Fluent German; English a plus
