We are looking for an enthusiastic Lead/Senior Data Analyst to join our amazing team at Ruby Game Studio, located in Izmir, Turkiye. You’ll be a core part of how we craft joy by using the power of data. Your role is essential: you’ll transform raw data into clear, actionable insights that truly move the needle on game performance, player experiences, and strategic business decisions. This is a special opportunity, helping to foster a culture of continuous learning and collaboration across the studio. Kindly note this is an on-site position with the possibility to work remotely once a week. You will have impact and fun at work by: - Mentoring our data team and actively fostering a culture of continuous learning and data-informed problem-solving across the studio. - Collaborating closely with our product managers and marketing team to uncover actionable insights from player behavior, in-game metrics, and monetization data. - Designing, building, and maintaining clear dashboards, reports, and visualizations that present key performance indicators (KPIs) to enable quick, data-driven decisions for various teams. - Using advanced analytics to explore trends, run A/B tests, look at player segmentation, and help influence our game development and user acquisition strategies. - Serving as the key analytical connector, working together with technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure data quality, tracking, and consistency are aligned with our goals. - Not being afraid to jump in to provide technical support and solutions for data issues that may not be covered by Beacon or such that require specialized attention. Experience and skills we are looking for: - You have extensive amount of professional expertise in data analytics, preferably within the free-to-play mobile games industry or another high-scale digital product environment. - You've proven your ability to turn complex player and business data into clear insights, recommendations, and measurable impact. - You have prior experience coaching, mentoring, or acting as a lead analyst on complex, cross-functional projects. - You're proficient in SQL, allowing you to write efficient queries and prepare large datasets, and you have strong command of Python for processing, analysis, and visualization. - You trust in statistical thinking and have solid experience designing, analyzing, and communicating the results of A/B tests and other experiments. - You excel at communication and storytelling, sharing complex analysis clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences. - You are proficient in Turkish and English. It would be nice if you also have the following skills: - Experience in free-to-play mobile games, specifically with analytics focused on live-ops, game economy, monetization, engagement, retention, or player progression. - Familiarity with forecasting, predictive modeling, segmentation, churn analysis, or player Lifetime Value (LTV) modeling. - Experience with building automated reporting, reusable data models, or analytics pipelines in collaboration with data engineering.
