Child Caregiver in Early Childhood Education

We are seeking a child caregiver at Håkansböle day care in Vanda to join our Swedish-language day care team. The unit operates within the Vanda City public Swedish-language service area vision: We grow, play and learn together for a sustainable future. We prioritize an inclusive, safe and sustainable service culture where the child’s best is always the focus. For the 2026–2027 year we will focus on language and communication, play, wellbeing; the unit participates in the ProSmå project to strengthen children’s socio-emotional skills and promote positive interactions. A new day care Silva will open in autumn 2027 to replace Håkansböle, offering modern facilities to support pedagogical work, cooperation and a sustainable daily life for children and staff. Responsibilities include providing children with security, care and support in daily life as part of the pedagogical team and collaborating with multiprofessional actors to develop an inclusive service culture across the unit. Requirements include teamwork, communicating with children, colleagues and guardians in a calm and respectful manner, and attuning to each child’s individual needs.
