As a home care nurse (lähihoitaja) you will help support the daily life of older people where it matters most – in their own home. Your tasks include working as a lähihoitaja in Vähäheikkilä-Hirvensalon home care in versatile, varied roles with the client at the center. You work independently as part of a team and are responsible for nursing and basic care as well as medication administration, ordering, and dosed-dispenser management. You will broadly apply your professional skills in various client situations and encounters. You participate in assessing care and service needs and in developing smooth everyday life. The work unit is located along good transport routes, and you will enjoy a unique work environment – the pulse of the city and the countryside of Hirvensalon island. The job is two-shift and collaborative shift planning enables you to influence your working hours. What we offer you: individual orientation and team support to integrate into home care life. What we expect from you: initiative, good problem-solving skills and a customer-oriented approach. Driving license and own car are required, as well as good Finnish language skills. A valid LOVe pharmacy license is a merit (may be completed through the employer within an agreed timeframe), experience working with older people, and knowledge of Pegasos OMNI and RAI. Eligibility requires a social and health care vocational qualification (lähihoitaja) or a prior vocational-level qualification plus valid registration in JulkiTerhikki and JulkiSuosikki registries.
